How much to paint the exterior of my house?

London, large 3 storey pebble-dashed 1920s house. It'll need a 4 tier scaffold to reach the highest parts. Semi detached so paint needed on 3 sides. I'm dreading getting quotes but it's beginning to look terrible. It hasn't been painted for around 25yrs.. I'm beginning to think I might have to do it all by myself...😬Anyone like to guess how much?

We were £800 at "mate's rates" for labour for 2 sides of a bungalow. We bought the paint.

We’ve been quoted around £3800 not including pre washing/sanding the windows.. that was the cheapest quote!

£4500 for a large semi with new render, in the south east, but that was two years ago. We got scaffolding and did it ourselves in the end.

I'm in a four storey end terrace with walls on three sides. I've recently been quoted £2,500 for the scaffolding alone. A local painter quoted me £120 a day which I thought was very reasonable but he said it would take him around three weeks. So that would be around £2000. Then there's the paint......
The outside of my house is awful, it's listed and Georgian and hasn't been painted for at least twenty years with rotting woodwork too

I very recently paid £1600 for the front of my 2 storey mid terrace Victorian to be repainted (over pebbledash). East London. I had other quotes at £1200 and £1400 but am glad I went with the most expensive.
