Oh the wait…….we have our home for sale, had a family (first time buyers too) view on Easter Monday, they loved it, and said they’d discuss and let us know whether they would put in an offer or not by the Friday. We heard nothing and had just about given up hope on them. Following Wednesday we had an offer from them, slightly lower than we wanted, so we went back to them with a higher counter offer. They said they would discuss over the weekend and let us know. Still waiting……I was hoping they accept our counter offer this morning. Driving me mad all this waiting to hear one way or another. An I being impatient? Whenever we’ve sold our homes before we’ve always heard the same day / next day.

The wait is awful! We made a counter offer selling our house and it was 3 or 4 days later until we heard back, and the estate agent said they'd offered on a couple of properties and were trying to make their mind up. Could be your buyers are doing the same, or are talking to the mortgage company to see the max they can borrow, hopefully you'll hear back soon :)

Thank you. Hope yours went ok in the end. Still no news today 🙈 I think I’d prefer it if they just said no at this point, it’s the waiting.
