annual house maintenance costs

Having just moved into our new house from a rental, I have been trying to figure out how much to put aside for house maintenance per month. I've seen that costs have really gone up in the last year or two. Would anyone have any rough figures for how much they spend on the house per year. It's a three bed semi in London in reasonably good condition. We have some savings but would also be useful to put aside enough cash for the future

This is so house dependent. New house or nearly new may not need much more than windows, gutters, garden/driveway maintenance and servicing of heating system. 50 year old house untouched in years will need lots of things sorting before moving to a lower cost maintenance regime, and most are somewhere in between. Cosmetic things, nice to haves eg new bathroom are big one off costs but can be saved up for.
Don't overthink to begin with, but do start a spreadsheet for what is urgent, what would be nice but can wait and what just needs doing regularly to keep it nice. There are compromises in all of this (but don't be like my rather elderly neighbour and just ignore it all...)
