Is my seller hoping I will pull out, why so slow?

Advice please?
I accepted an offer on my flat and the sale is progressing normally, should exchange in a few weeks... I had my offer accepted on a flat which ticks all the boxes 7 weeks ago, but since the sale was confirmed...it is so slow, and the agent clearly lying as they go along with no real information from the seller, who have only just started to take some actions. Still no packs to my solicitor after 6 weeks.... I am so stressed, will this actually complete, or are they hoping I might drop out for a better offer? What danger signs should I look out for? Sick with worry we will end up with nowhere to live in June, I don't want to loose the offer i have, I can't let go of the hope we might be able to buy the new one as it's perfect for us!
