We are going to extend upwards to our attic to create a bedroom for 12yo DS so he can have a decent space for a teen bedroom, and I'm just wondering what to do about the heating for it.
Ultimately I want to move away from the gas central heating that we have in the rest of the house, but don't really know where to start with electric heaters/heating systems. My Google attempts seem to give more results about portable systems.
Anyone have any experience/knowledge of fixed electric heaters...? We'd only be starting with the attic, though thinking on, we are also getting rid of the (small, cold, miserable) downstairs toilet to open up the hallway, and this could probably do with a small heater in that corner too.
