Hi, i am looking for a house in budget 200-220k in Macclesfield area, is there any good area in Macclefield to suggest?
I am currently working in Wilmslow, does driving in rush hour is difficult, or suggest to go by train?

Does anyone recommend to look at the new build in Mancclesfield? There are 2 new build around there (Kings Quarter & Silk Water Green?)

From what I know, you will be restricted to around the town centre with that budget. The nicer areas are a bit further out, but cost more.

Personally (if it were a possibility) I'd move out a little towards Tytherington, or Bollington.

I know there is a lot of terraced house around town centre within our budget, but at least i wish i can have off road parking.
I have visited the new build in Macclesfield and they have 2 bedroom house within our budget, but need to wait 18 months or more to finish+Cost on upgrade items (floor, carpet, appliance) and more travel time/cost back to work.
We have a 6 years old boy so school is another to consider.

Up to you. I asked DH he said industrial and large council estate. Doesn't recommend. But everywhere has gone up in price in the last year or two.
