Garden clearance

I'm feeling so upset. Paid to have someone clear part of our garden and they've left all the weeds and sprayed them. Is this usual? I thought I was very clear that I wanted it all gone.

I'd be most upset for the wildlife that was living in your garden, tbh. You should have found out what they were going to do before they did it. 😬

I would guess they've sprayed them then come back in a couple of eeeks to dig it over - then hey presto no weeds.
