Where is your laminate from?

How long have you had it for ? Happy with it?
inlaws want to change living room/dining room to laminate. Wondering if B&Q and wickes are any good !?

Woodpecker, it was pretty expensive but I’m not impressed with it. Part of it is due to bad fitting, although it was supposedly professionally done by an official stockist - bits of it crackle when you walk on it and it has peeled in a couple of places, and it also scratches quite easily.

To add, we’ve had it for about 18 months but wasn’t great from the start.

B&M, same as the last one whixhbwa down for ten years. Only lifted it because we removed things like the fireplace and other built in furniture and we couldn't patch without it being obvious. Highly recommend it - surprisingly high quality

Mines Wickes Navelli and I love it. Had it in my last property and liked it so much I bought it for my new house too. It's been down a couple of years in each so can't comment on longer than that. I have ceramic tiles in my kitchen and bathroom as my washing machine leaks at times and I don't think it's a good idea to drench it but I mop it once a week (well intend to lol)

Quickstep very happy with it

Wicked, got it in bedrooms, very happy with it. We went for a fairly thick one.DH laid it with no problem.

UK Flooring Direct - lovely quality, easy to lay, came within a couple of days and we were able to order all the extras (tools, underlay, spacers etc) through them as well. Very happy with them and didn't cost the earth. They do solid and engineered wood as well and the one we went for was the laminate sample I ordered by mistake!
