I'm a newbie to the property scene. We're FTB and have found our starter home. 2 bed end terrace in a quiet cul-de-sac it was originally on for 170k. Then it was remarketed for offers over 180k.
We put an offer in at 180k. Estate agents have come back to us with best and finals by the end of the day tomorrow. Now this house has potential could do a 2 storey side extension with rear extension or rear extension and loft conversion. So the possibilities are there. Now I don't want to offer way over the asking price and then invest more money in renovating and when we do come to sell in the future make a loss.
What would you offer as a best and final? We are FTB, we have an 80% LTV. How would you word an email to the estate agents to get them to go with our offer?
