Anyone finding prices are changing mid build? Are prices putting people off building/loft extensions etc?

What do you mean by mid build? For building supplies or fixture and fittings? We're desperately trying to find builders to start on our home extension and the quotes we're getting are insane. We're going to get a contract though and I thought that would present them raising prices mid build?

Decent builders are booked up months in advance, we can’t seem to get a quote for more than 30 days. By the time the build is due, prices have gone up again. I don’t know where the prices are going.
