Help with putting up outdoor shelves!

Hello! I would dearly love it if someone (is @pigletjohn still around?!) could advise me how best to put up these shelves in this exterior wall. Only needs to be able to hold wet towels and swimming stuff.

I am pretty sure I have the right drill and probably bits but if anyone could send me a link to the exact plugs and screws I should be using I would be SO grateful.

Thank you!

the bricks look grey so are probably concrete.

lightweight concrete blocks are very soft and weak so need extra attention. You can scratch your initials into them with a nail.

If they are solid bricks, drill about 2 inches into the wall and insert brown plugs, tapping them slightly below the surface. In a wet area use stainless screws. Unless the holes in the bracket are countersunk, use round-headed or hex-headed screws (you can buy them in small numbers on ebay). Hex-headed you do up with a small spanner, there may be hex drivers to suit in your drill kit. It is easier than a screwdriver.

You will see from the square information panel on the block of plugs (see pic) that you need a 7mm masonry drill and can use screws of 4.5mm to 7mm diameter. I'd probably use 5mm which is overkill until some playful person uses the rack as a pull-up bar, or tries to sit on it. have a look at the holes in the bracket first to make sure they are big enough. When ordering, they are called "M5 x 50" meaning metric diameter of 5mm and a penetration (excluding head) of 50mm

All the pull-out force is on the top screws. The bottom ones take no load but prevent it flapping about.

if the wall is in fact tiles you will need to drill through the tile first, and tap the plug below the tile to avoid cracking it.
