Ok to mix metals? Which table?

Hello

We're decorating our place and don't really have a set style. Id describe it as neutral modern classic. Off white walls light grey/white oak floors. We have a beige sofa with silver cushions. I need a side table. Im not overly into the whole everyone has to be brass or everything has to be silver and want a neutral warm toned look overall.

Which side table would suit better? Brass or silver?

Have you got a pic if your rooM and sofa?

What type of house do you have? I think older, characterful houses are very forgiving of mixing styles including metals, but some more modern houses less so.

We dont have the sofa's unwrapped but they're these ones from dfs. The walls are an off white, timeless dulix and thats all we have right now.

Brass - it will warm things up a bit.

The brass one, the other is very cold

£1,200 [shcok] - for £713 you can have an original Ellen Grey straight off Aram, which will not date and you'll be able to see it second hand at a loss of about only 20% if you get tired of it. If it goes out of production then it will only increase in value.

They're not £1200 - that bit at the top of the OPs pic is referring to a discount for spending over £1200. They're £320.

Shmithecat2 - thank you :) sorry OP for my reading comprehension fail :)

PS I'd get the copper as it sort of responds to your cousins - if I have understood correctly which cushions you have.Grin
