Hi all I'm looking for advice as we have just purchased our first home and I have absolutely no clue who to contact for what. Our kitchen is galley style with our cooker tucked right in the corner. We want it moved to the other side of the kitchen central to the units whilst using some of the existing cupboards that the owners purchased from b&q and extending it. Now here's the problem there is a gap under the counter where they put their bin and behind it looks to be a jutted out solid wall which is directly behind the chimney breast in front room some parts are solid some are hollow where they have boxed it in around the units. So do I contact a builder first to see if it can be knocked through so it's even with the rest of the walls or contact b&q first who will take this into account? Sorry for long post hope someone understands what I mean
