Are houses still going for over asking price?

We are selling, we have ten viewings booked for Saturday. Is the trend that houses are still going for over asking price? I don’t know what to expect! We are in the south east - what are peoples selling experiences atm?

I put my house up two weeks ago for a guide price of 220-225. I had 5 offers on the first day of viewing, then more on each day. Viewings went on for 8 days, then to best and final, done and dusted by day 10. I accepted an offer of 235. FTB so imagine she might wobble when she sees the survey and offer less. It's all about bidding at the moment so good time to sell.

Our house went for £60k over the asking price in less than a week and we put an best and final offer in yesterday at £45k over the asking price and still didn't get the property so, yes, they are in our part of the north west.

Depends what size house you’re selling round here I think. 4 beds and the big Edwardian 3 beds are flying near me still but smaller ones are taking longer. But this is outer London, it’s manic where we’re looking to buy elsewhere in the SE.
