Shared ownership new build - arghhhhh!

Wondering if anyone on here has experience of the shared ownership new build delays & frustration!!
First viewed the show flat in July last year, was supposed to move in December. Since then the handover date's been pushed back multiple times. We are now living with friends (DC & me)
Emails almost weekly stating further delays ... Myself & DC now staying with friends til we get the handover confirmation/completion date.
We have exchanged. Our stuff has been in storage for ages... we have to go through with it now we've exchanged & it's frustrating as hell!
Anyone been through similar? 😭

I thought you might be a future neighbour of mine...! We agreed the purchase of a s/o house back in October, it was literally a hole in the ground and they were suggesting we'd be in by January. Didn't think that was likely but we wanted the house and are in rented, so happy to wait.

Everything is done. The houses were supposed to be handed over to the HA last week, but its now pushed back until mid-May. We haven't exchanged yet. It is vaguely stressful and very annoying.
