Just a moan ☹️
We’ve been waiting for an exchange date for over seven months and we’re pretty much powerless in a sellers market. And the estate agents know it.
There’s not another house on the market 😭 can’t move area because the kids are in school. Can’t not move because we’re past over cramped in our small house.
We’re waiting for useless solicitor to finish working on our buyers forward sale and every step is taking a month. Estate agents and solicitors act like I’m a loon every time I ask for a date or action.
Because we’ve waited so long (we put offer in last summer) house prices have increased a lot.
I feel frustrated and powerless. When I ask for action I feel like I’m begging.
There’s no respect for buyers because new ones can be found so easily.
Not exaggerating to say the stress of this process has ruined my life over the past year.
