How much is your EA charging?

Getting ready to put house on the market and I think I've chosen the EA I want to go with. They are charging 0.75% of selling price + vat.

I previously (about 18 months ago) got quotes from other agents, which were higher (and I didn't like them so much) but I didn't know if the percentage charged has generally gone down with the rapid rise in house prices? Is 0.75% still a good rate?

Ours is a fixed charge of £1800.
It's 0.63% for us.

We're paying 1% plus VAT

Ours was 0.75% for discrete listing, 0.9% for full marketing. Plus VAT

1%+VAT is the norm for a trad EA.
Sold 2-houses in the past 8-months, not certain we got VFM on either.

Thanks for the replies, seems like 0.75% is still a good deal then.

A local sole EA does offer £2,400 incl VAT but I'm reluctant to go with them in case they are ever ill/on holiday etc.
