Selling and moving twice!

Complicated times ahead! My husband and I are going through a divorce, our house is currently sold stc. He has bought a flat and the plan is for me to move temporarily to my late Dad's property until probate comes through. The house would then be sold and the money basically split between my sister and I. It's a logistical nightmare for someone as organisationally challenged as me...What are some key tasks I must get done re bills, informing people, storage etc? I'm terrified I'm going to drop the ball by forgetting something important!

Just done exactly the same (but without the divorce bit!).

Sold our house, moved into late parents house until A. probate came through and B. new build was ready, then sell the old family home.
All sorted now, probate finally done (took 9-months), moved into new build and parents house completed 4-weeks after we moved out.
Yes there is a lot to do. We moved significant distances each time so logistics had to be considered, setting up bills (twice), redirecting mail (twice) and a hundred and one other things. Three different solicitors (sale, purchase & probate), two different EA's (one lazy & lying and other quite good). Dealing with inevitable snags in newbuild (which fortunately is as lovely as we hoped and developer almost falls over themselves to help) while we settle in and make a new life.

Chin up and plan your way through it.
