Wanting to revamp our fireplace.
Our log burner is staying Black but we have horrible Orange brick inside our fireplace.

Thinking of White washing it with chalk paint to tone down the Orange.

Do I need head resistant paint to do this? Or would normal chalk paint do?

I used regular emulsion for mine two years ago and it's been fine and resisted the heat of my log burner
