Just that really. We will plaster / repair walls and probably paint before all that.

Windows

Not at the same time?

No idea what type of windows & sills you are buying (hardwood, UPVC etc) but it would surely create less work to have them done together.

Yes some kind of uPVC. I don't know whether a window company would do it. Of course that would be easier!

If UPVC then they will replace the sills at the same time if you ask (and pay) them to.

I bet you mean the window board inside the house. The call is the outside bit. But yes to getting them done at the same time.

Don’t plaster and paint first! Our window company did a brilliant job but there are invariably snags: this is in a room we had replastered and painted, but couldn’t afford a window at that time. Later, had the window done – and they did the wooden sill underneath at the same time, as standard – and invariably there was damage to the wall.

We had a much better finish on the windows we put in at the same time as plastering, then painting after.
