Dear All,

I am wondering if you have any experience with that. I have been watching youtube videos about them and posts all over. Seems like a great option but we are not sure yet with the brand, size, quality, etc. Please share with us!
Thank you!

Just bumping this as I'm also interested.

We're planning to get solar panels and I was thinking of getting infrared panel heaters in the living spaces so we can turn them on when the heating is off in the daytime and we're all hanging out in one room.

Would also be good so we can keep our heating on a lower background level and top up the heat a bit when we want to be cosy.

I have one in my back room (from Warm4less). I'd say it depends what you are comparing them to.
I live in an area without gas so am not used to instant heat. If you are then you may be disappointed compared to gas central heating.
I got one as didn't have the wall space for a big heater. It does warm the room well and my desk is under it.. feels a bit like sitting in the sun.
So think about where you position it. Mine is also in a room with a back door and you don't lose the heat in the way you would with a fan heater when it's opened. They heat the things in a room rather than the air.
Basically,if you expect your whole room to be 25 degrees you may be disappointed but if you tend to sit in a particular place in a room and position it well then you can feel nice and cosy for a reasonable running cost

Hey Calmdown14,
How frequently do you switch them on every day during winter month?
Is it possible to add google nest thermostat? or what type of thermostat do you use?
Thanks
