Had enough of this house move shit

Feeling very down today. Originally put our house on the market a year ago. Sold within days to a landlord. LL was keen to make stamp duty holiday and offered us more to complete in time, complete with a cheap rent back deal so we could stay in our house until our move completed. All good eh?

House move #1 fell apart in June, #2 fell apart in October. Both times we picked ourselves up and found somewhere else. House three looked great. Up until last week it was just us and the vendors, who were buying a chain-free probate property. Today that all came crashing down as they have been gazumped.

In the meantime LL has decided she wants this property back for a family member so we are now on a section 21 notice and homelessness is looming large. WTAF is wrong with this property market? I'm done. I can't even hide away at home and sulk because I don't have one any more.

We've given up looking, OP. It's been absolutely soul destroying.

I'm sorry you're in this position.

Can you go into rented temporarily rather than buy for the sake of it?

Hi OP, no words here except I feel your pain. I sold last Summer, my purchase fell apart a few weeks before exchange. Been looking since and had an offer accepted a month ago but now waiting for the vendors to find something. I'm expecting it all to fall apart.
Been living with parents since July.

I think we're going to have to. That means two moves and committing to paying for a six month contract that we probably (hopefully) won't need more than three months of. We'd probably only rent a one bed place for financial reasons which means putting our stuff in storage. I know there are bigger things going on in the world but right now I am really struggling. Not coping at all.
