New front door

Hi,
I'm planning to replace my front door and I would like your opinion.
There are so many different manufacturers: Endurance, Doorco, Rockdoor, Solidor, Latham's...
Do you have one of these? Would you recommend it?

I have solidor, would recommend it but it was the supplier our fitter recommended so don’t know anything about the others.

I will say it’s the amount of glass you have that pushes the price up.

May I ask how long have you had it and whether it's required lots of maintenance and/or repairs?

We have, and my Mum has, Solidor. Both of us have been very pleased. No maintenance, just a wipe down to keep clean.

We have read some bad reviews on them, but also have read bad reviews on all of them. We would buy Solidor again.

Afraid I wouldn’t buy solidor, currently in dispute. The door expands so much when it’s even slightly warm, sometimes it just doesn’t open. Thank Ive got a side entrance too. Complete fire hazard.

Sorry to read that @Bellasorella1 Our Solidor is within a front porch so gets all the heat of that in summer and has never expanded, so they need to sort to replace or refund imo.

I have a endurance one on my back door and my sister has one on her front door. Great quality and a quick spray of silicone spray every few months. Having my front door done in a few months time with the same xx

I have a Solidor and would definitely recommend. No maintenance at all I just give it a wipe down when I do the window sills. The front of our house is south facing so sun all day and we've not had any problems with expansion and it's been in 3 years.
