sealed bid offer - when will I hear back?

I have just submitted a sealed bid for a house in London. There was an open house on Saturday and a lot of interest. I offered 25K over the asking price yesterday afternoon, by the deadline set. I am wondering when I will hear back? And if not hearing back by now means I haven’t got it :/

You should hear today, depends when they can present it to the sellers and how long the sellers take to make a decision.

Today depends on the situation. We had one where it took about a week as the property was owned by the church and the council had to meet to discuss all offers. Another we heard back about 20 minutes after offers were due. I would assume within a day or two.
