Long story short, viewed a show flat last July (shared ownership) & decided to try & buy. It's been an exhausting and stressful journey but mortgage offer agreed & due to move into the new build flat December 2021. Then handover date pushed back to Jan, Feb, March, now April!!! Myself & my lovely child are living with friends, have already had to get mortgage offer extended, so exhausted and stressed.
We have now exchanged! ((Without a completion date)
Housing association is Optivo.
I feel like this is going to rumble on forever.
Anyone got experience of A) A new build that's taken ages and B) Optivo?
Good and bad experiences gratefully received!
