Fire door required?

I've renovated my house - nothing structural, just new bathrooms/kitchens and redecorating. It's a typical Victorian brick built terraced house with a converted loft (so three stories, loft done in 2009, long before I bought it).
The ground floor has hallway with stairs, then a door which leads to kitchen/diner, and there are double doors to the livingroom. See floor plan attached. I have blocked the door from hallway to living room, so you walk through kitchen area to access that room.
I am replacing the door from hallway to kitchen with a crittal style glass and steel door. My question is, does it need to be fire rated? I have looked online and it says if replacing 'like for like' then no, but this is a different style door - does that make a difference? There is access to the outside via the doors to garden from these rooms. The door manufacturer say it's my responsibility to find out. It will add £1200 to the cost if I do! But I will of course comply if required to.
