With the way energy prices are going I’m looking at how we can save. Already have cavity wall insulation and lots of loft insulation, double glazing and good external doors.
Current boiler is an Ideal FF380 conventional boiler, probably 18-20 years old, D rating from what I can see on Google. Serviced every year, never had any issues. Currently 1 bathroom, but looking to add an extra shower (2 adults, 2 teens).
I’ve looked into heat pumps but I don’t think my house is a great fit (1929 semi). Want to keep costs down so probably stick with a conventional boiler so don’t have to change too much in the way of pipes etc.
Any recommendations?
