Just had a quote for some fencing. It is for a small area of the garden for privacy. Horizontal panels .
Costing £1300! Is this normal? Only half of one side of a small garden , not sure of area. The quote was by text.

How much is the fence? Do posts need concreting in? How many days labour? And area is essential to know. Get a breakdown of costs and you should always get more than one quote.

I can't get anyone else to quote, they don't seem bothered about getting the work! I don't know if the posts need to be concreted in and he seems to be saying it can be done in one day. It was a text quote with no breakdown of costs.
