Will this tap squirt water out all over the counter?

These are the taps I've narrowed down to:

Tap A

and Tap B.

I think I like Tap B better, but am worried it will have less control over the flow of water than Tap A, which has an extra bit pointing downwards.

Am I over-thinking this?!

The outlet on the second tap still points downwards. Water will leave either of those taps in broadly the same direction. There may be differences, but you can't tell from a photo.

We have one similar to B because I tend to whack glasses against the tap and break them. It definitely goes downwards

I think they will function just the same.

They both appear to have the capability to swivel.
The B&Q one may also have a ‘diffuser’ in the nozzle to reduce the pressure the water comes out at.
