Does this quote sound reasonable? New 3 new double glazed windows and 1 new composite front door. Including fitting and 10 year guarantee. £4100. I'm in London. Thanks

Yes about right (depending on the window size really). The door alone is probably almost half.

Baconking · 09/03/2022 09:31

Depends on the size of the 3 windows, but probably sounds about right.
We've recently paid over £800 for 1 single bedroom window.

hmmm, seems a lot to me but I'm in the NW so guessing location pushes prices way over.... but we've just had 8 windows and a bay and a composite door for £5000

Thanks! My mum thought it sounded far too much but I think she's just out of touch with prices now. They aren't enormous windows but not tiny either.

We have friends in the NW who are wanting a complete renovation done. Which firm did you use, please?
anoldcharter · 09/03/2022 16:57

@CheltenhamLady they are a smallish 'local to me' firm, so not sure how far they would travel etc, but I'll PM you the webpage. They did a fantastic job, fully fitted and 10 year guarantee....
