Can you get fence panels in different widths?

I lost the end fence panel in the recent storms, basically blasted to smithereens! It's the end one and narrower than all the others. I.e. it fills what was left of the boundary. The posts are still sound.

I've had a look at quite a few places and where different sizes are on offer, they're all six ft wide but shorter, there doesn't seem to be a narrow option.

Am I looking in the wrong places?

B and Q has 1.8 metre tall x 90 cm fence panels. You may wind up having to cut a bigger one to size. That often winds up cheaper and is not difficult. Lots of Youtube videos showing you how.

What normally happens here is the person installing the panel uses a full size on and cuts it down to size. This can look excellent or terrible depending on the skill of the person doing the chopping.

Yes, I feared this would be the case. That will be either me or 18yo DS2. What could possibly go wrong? Grin

We had some panels made to measure by a local fencing/landscaping company.

I’ve done them - it’s pretty easy! Best way is to measure the size that you need, and mark it out on the panel. I used a crowbar to prise off the borders, cut the lapped board to size, then nailed the border back on. Have done it a few times now.
