DP and I have been to see a property today, we love it and it's an absolute steal compared to similar on the market (it's a cottage with outside space for less than many 2 bedroom flats are going for). Nice setting in a little close set back from the quiet road it's on. It's well within our budget so mortgage payments would be more than manageable and we'd be able to afford to spend a bit on it.
Just one thing; it doesn't come with a parking space so we'd have to rent one in a car park right next door at £150 a month. There's residents parking on all the streets around but it's a more or less 2 year wait for a permit at the moment.
It's literally the only thing giving me pause from offering on it, worrying that the owners of the rented space could suddenly stop offering it or decide to sell the land and we'd be stuffed. What would you do?
