We’re in the process of buying our first house and have just had an email from our solicitor saying that they have submitted our searches and our local search is due 21st March. Can anyone explain what is meant by ‘due’ please? Sorry if that’s a silly question. Also what it means for the general timeline? Thanks 😊

It means they’ll get the local search results on the 21st Match.
After that generally they will raise enquiries. Do you have a full mortgage offer and surveys completed

Thank you, that’s what I thought it would be. Yes we have our mortgage offer and had a level 3 survey done today so should get the report for that later this week or next week
