IKEA white furniture

I've got one of those ikea toy storage units that's white. I was going to sell it as I prefer the solid ones but they seems to be constantly sold out so think I need to keep it now. Problem is, it's got a scratch on the top and it's not solid wood. The paint looks more like a wrap than paint - has anyone fixed a scratch in a unit like this before? Can I just paint over the ikea wrap paint?

Even though it's not the wood version? It's the prepainted unit.... which doesn't seem like actual paint

Do you mean kallax? If so, I don't think any of them are solid wood. They're all wrapped mdf. Totally fine to paint if primed. Zinsser is good for this.

If its a kallax can’t you just turn it upside down?
