we had our new kitchen put in last year love the kitchen we went for vinyl flooring and i am so disappointed saving money did not work it is basically falling apart, so am looking at what we should have done in the first place and going for tiles ( not lvt or karndean) the floor underneath is 1940s wooden floorboards is it possibly to tile over a floor like this, it has piers underneath but the bits in between the piers are over a gap of about four feet
