I moved a few month ago and need to pretty much paint the whole house- walls ceilings and woodwork.

I think I want to stay fairly neutral as I love the dark colours (navys) and sage greens but I want something that won’t go out of fashion.

Im looking for ideas for a light fresh off white colour for walls and woodwork. And is there a better brand paint to get? I don’t have ab unlimited budget but if there is one that’s much better I’m happy to spend a bit more.

Gardenia is a safe off white colour but there are so many!

As far as brands are concerned, I’d go with Dulux Trade - from Leyland, Brewers or other specialist paint stores.

Dont go for the basic cheapy paint from places like B&Q if you can afford not to - they are not bad but dont last that well - go mid range rather than expensive - in my humble opinion.
