How long is halifax taking from application to approval?

Ours was through a broker and the valuation was booked the day after application, with offer a week after valuation. Because although the valuer okayed the price he took a week to write up his report.

Yes, we got our offer last week. This was an amendment to our application, alright it was pretty similar to a new application. It took slightly longer now than it did for us back in August, but only because of the valuation report delay. Our mortgage broker said that they decide applications for loans over 500k very quickly.
