Have you ever had to have one? What kind of cost should I be expecting? Current scaffolders said 8K but I assume that's because they just don't want the job

We had one like the one you posted. It was expensive but meant we could work in any weather so nothing was held it

Darn- I thought that was the scaffolders being silly. My builder said the last one he has to use was £2.5K. What a massive chunk of money. Builder says that the time taken to cover and uncover everyday would mean they only get about 4 hrs work a day done without one. Plus it might rain unexpectedly of course

We've just had one and it was more than that! With all of the scaffolding too but I think you mean that anyway. Ours was probably a bigger area and it was up for about 4 months in the end. Made everything easier for the builders and we could climb up there and see what was happening which was fun
