We are trying to buy the freehold of our property as a part of our ongoing sale.
The Freeholder cannot yet find the relevant title documents. but has been receiving the ground rent via their agent for 8 years since inheriting from her late father.
Does anyone know how long the process is likely to take to reconstitute the title deed if they cannot be found?
What would constitute proof of entitlement to sell the freehold?
Is there any way to expedite this issue?
