Sanding wall in bedroom with bed in - any tips for dust?

I’ll take the quilt and mattress out etc and put down dust sheets, but any other tips on how to contain the dust please given we will be sleeping in there the same day! Thanks a lot x

A decent extractor/vacuum attachment on your sander would be the place to start. Misting the air with a large plant mister can help bring the dust down quicker. After that it’s just a case of ventilating and repeated cleaning.

Tape off the door all the way round before you get started. And be prepared to stay in the room for a couple of hours after to get on top of the dust before allowing it to waft into the rest of the building… that means you need water (for you and for cleaning), sturdy vacuum and cleaning equipment etc all in the room before starting. Put your phone in a sealed freezer bag.

Take the matress out too if you can and tip the bed on its side
