My solicitor doesn’t want to use previous buyers searches

Why might that be? The previous buyers searches are only 2-3weeks old.
My solicitor rang me today asking for a payment to start searches via third party.
What risks am I taking if I buy previous buyers searches?

When we tried to do this we were told we could only use prev buyers searches if we used the same conveyancing firm.

Is it too late for you to switch? How much have you paid them? If only a small deposit then I’d switch for time saving reasons.
