Stone resin - Aquaroc

I have embarked on refurbishing our two bathrooms and was very drawn to Lusso Stone and their clean, matt look.

Saw some concerning reviews on here and other forums regarding cleaning of the baths and sinks so was happy to discover Aquaroc, which look very similar and comparably priced. I cannot though find any reviews, they seem to be a relatively young company.

Anyone used them/have experience with their sinks and baths?

I don’t mind taking care of stone resin surfaces, but can’t take weekly sanding and watching like a hawk over what state kids leave the bathroom in! Smile

Any other feedback on matt bath/sinks very welcome!

I saw Arezzo offer a matt freestanding bath, anyone have one of these and can share their view?

Thank you!

I would be interested to know as well.

I didn’t know there could be problems with staining on the Lusso products? I’m just about to place an order with them so this is a bit of a worry, could you point me in the direction of where you’ve seen this please @Allisw? PM if you don’t want to post here please!
Incidentally Lusso have their own cleaning products if that helps?

Hi

I was going to buy a bath and basin from Aquaroc but having done some background checks into the company, i found that it has only been operating for 7 months. How do they offer a lifetime guarantee?

It also seems that they are ripping off a very big brand.

I would be cautious and take a look at the established companies such as Clearwater, Victoria & Albert and Lusso Stone.

Update: we went ahead and ordered two bathroom sinks from Aquaroc (Nero and Fiora) as too nervous to buy Lusso sinks after seeing some bad reviews.
I was super impressed with delivery which was next day and felt reassured by speaking to them. The sinks look amazing - exactly the clean design we were aiming for. So far cannot fault them at all and very happy with our choice.
For the bath though we went with Arezzo as the stone baths by Aquaroc and Lusso were over twice as heavy. Very pleased with the quality!

Hi all

me and my partner are completing new build and wanted to know the differences between stone resin and solid surface so many different terms are used it gets confusing does anyone on here know the difference?

We do also like the look of Lusso and Aquaroc products

Only thing that is putting me off Lusso is that there owner is a convicted fraudster Lusso News article Daily Mail and there is quite alot of bad reviews regarding long lead times.

Martinisarebetterdirty · 18/05/2022 22:07

I’ve recently placed an order from Lusso, some things do have a long lead time (the bath I have ordered) but they are upfront about it. They have good trust pilot reviews and everything is returnable (plus have the protection of having paid my deposit on credit card). Re the fraud, it of course depends on your own moral compass and whether you think that a conviction is never spent and should hang over people forever. I like their designs, the quality seems good so we went ahead, have found the customer service really good so far, I couldn’t make my mind up and they pulled together about eight quotes for me for various combinations really quickly. I can feedback more when I take delivery in August (my lead time not theirs), but (touch wood) seems good so far in terms of communication.

Hi @Allisw, picking up on this a few years on. Very interested in a vanity from Aquaroc with the stone basins - how is yours holding up? Would you recommend? TIA
