Tile glue

Hi there
We've been doing our own bathroom Reno and it's almost done! Yay!
There's a few traces of tile glue that has seeped through the drop sheets we had on the floor.
Can anyone recommend an effective way to get rid of this?

Thanks in advance!

As in tile adhesive?
On the flooring?
What's the flooring made of?

Yeah tile adhesive, the flooring is ceramic tiles. There's just little smudges that have slipped through. I noticed it would come off if I scrub hard, but I was wondering if there might be a solution or trick that makes it easier

vinegar?

It'll come off if you scratch at it. Try a store/bank card corner for starters. If that doesn't work try something metal like a pallet knife or blunt chisel. If the floor tiles are good quality you won't mark them (though you might want to test that theory somewhere out of sight first).

When you've got it down to tiny bits left give it a scrub with a washing up sponge and water.

I put vinegar on everything 🤣 I'll probably end up doing the same here too
