Do people usually take their washing machines when they sell and move?

I inherited the seller's washing machine and it has just gasped its last breath. DH just bought a pretty expensive replacement. I was wondering if we are moving in the next few years, could we take the washing machine with us or would buyers expect it to be included? I remember there was a white goods list on what was included when I bought, and I actually thought at that time, that its normal for seller to include white goods...

Normal to take. We inherited one and it was actually a pain as we already had one (were renting so couldn't just leave for our buyers) so had to get rid.

Hmm, mine is integrated, less than 12 months old and I pushed the boat out on it (£900) so I think I would take it with me if I moved within the 3 year guarantee period even though it is integrated.
It’s really not worth moving integrated washing machines

Either, whatever you prefer. This is how we once ended up owning three washing machines - we had one each from previous houses and vendor left his behind in the house we bought - even though we said we didn't want it! Grin

I've always experienced non-integrated appliances being left. Both places I have bought subject to all white goods being left, and when I sold my flat, the offer was also subject to me leaving behind the white goods. Its a good way to save a bit of money, particularly for first time buyers, as buying all new appliances is expensive.
