Depends on where the plumping comes from/ outlet goes to really. Do you have a floor plan?

notmrscookie · 13/02/2022 19:01

no professional drawing. The cupboard sits on an outside wall so it is being channelled into that drainage system by pipework on outside of wall

Sounds about right to me in today's market

notmrscookie · 13/02/2022 19:04

everything. Building a wall to make it a shower room, fit a door between shower and bedroom. Tile all walls, tile the floor. Plastering, painting.
Fitting and connecting drain, plumbing, electrical. All materials, waste disposal. Fitting shower tray, enclosure. shower.
Shower size 90cm x 90cm

You can have a look at the enclosure, shower, and tile here:

That seems quite cheap to me.

We've just had pretty much the same thing done. Except no cupboard in first place just a bare room, new shower ensuit built in one corner if room onto outside walls where plumbing was connected via outside pipe work. So all plumbing works , tiling, stud walls, plastering and carpentry cost just over 5k and we bought the shower , toilet, sink and tiles separately for around £700 in total (all fit in the price above)
We are up north.

Suggest you check that those tiles are not slippery when wet. I had similar and changed then for Matt ones. Far less slippery.

HasaDigaEebowai · 14/02/2022 03:02

Seems fairly low to me

LemonSwan · 14/02/2022 03:06

Seems standard

I've just been quoted £4k for a total refit of a tiny shower room with no need to change any pipe work . This price includes everything such as shower, sink, toilet vanity unit, lighting, tiles etc etc.
I thought it was reasonable
