Decor ideas for rented bathroom please?

Looking for ideas to make my new rental bathroom nicer. I want to include plants.

Was thinking of a stool / bench under the window in the left. I can't paint but could put up pictures or something. It's very plain at the moment. I have an existing cedar wood bath mat which I like, and outside of the picture to the right I am going to put an antique mahogany chest of drawers. The room is spacious and I think it can take furniture.

Any ideas especially for this bath end of the room as you look at it? Thank you!

The antique chest of drawers sounds great, I have a chest of drawers in my (rented) bathroom that is similarly huge and dh was sceptical at first but it's really useful to have the extra storage abd stops the room looking to empty.

You could look for a mahogany plant stand to put somewhere with some kind of ferny type plant?

wallpaper or paint bathroom wall with something bold?
or a few pictures?
decorative baskets with spare loo rolls?
random antique chair?

I think these would look cool in there - they are vinyls you can peel off:

Also maybe a rug? It looks like quite a "hard" room at the moment, might be nice to have something soft underfoot.

A beautiful vintage mirror over the bath would be nice if you can hang things on the walls.

It needs a side table next to the bath for keeping a glass of wine in easy reach.

Great ideas! Love the idea of a mirror. I have a v large rectangular one which could work hung landscape above the bath. Side table and plant stand great too. Thing the stick on fern things are a bit too contemporary for what I'm thinking, plus a bit of a hassle for a rental.

Will the loo side look a bit neglected? Perhaps a picture frame above the loo? I have a smallish framed drawn map of our area. Sounds odd but maybe?

Rug wise did you mean a rug or bath mat type thing? I know what you mean about the floor
