Just had aprice for 13 units plus intergrated oven dishwasher and washing machine for £9500 plus labour costs of £7500 from Howdens They are having to take out a 3 metre supporting wall and put in a lintel so in all £17000
does this seem right ,just asking as I am unsure of the cost this should be....

Seems v good to me. So are Howden’s taking out the wall for you too?

Sounds reasonable. Get another quote if yo7 aren’t sure.

Doesn't sound too bad, I think I had 21 units and a fancy worktop along with white goods for 13k. Taking out a structural wall is expensive so I don't think it is a bad quote.

I also would like to know if Howdens are doing the building work for you?

This is an old post...I went with Howdens in the end the quality of units is far better than many of the independents..but there is an issue with them,there is a huge hidden discount given to the Kitchen fitters on Howden prices and it is their choice if they want to pass any of it on to you, also get reputable workmen in, we made a mistake with one of our tradesmen, although the kitchen fitter himself was fantastic
