How many viewings for an open house?

Hi I've put my house on the market and the estate agents are doing an 'open house' this weekend are will then ask for best and finals.

Anyone who has done one of these can you tell me a bit about your experience? How many viewings took place and did it lead to a sale?

I've never sold a property like this before, the last time I sold a property it didn't get on the internet even as the estate agent said they knew someone would buy it and they did!

Obviously you have a property the agents thinks is going to generate a lot of interest!

well there are 7 bookings for Saturday already, only went live Monday. So I think they may be right.

Hi Op...I sold my house using this method last year...I had 23 viewings booked for the open day and then a back up list as well...all viewers had neen checked out by my agent to ensure they were viable and had the finances in place...i had 9 offers and it went to best and final...I ended up selling for £30k over my asking price.
