Hello.
I'll be moving back to UK next year and I'm starting to research areas in the South and South East to move to, so for those of you in these parts of the country, I'd really like to hear about where you live and what you like about it (or don't like/wouldn't recommend).
Ideally I want to be within a 2 hour drive (preferably less) of where my family live in south London. I don't need to be in a town, and I like the countryside, but I do need to be within a reasonable driving distance of a town and its amenities. I have a 9 year old son, so decent schools are also a factor.
I'm completely open to suggestions and have been looking at places as far apart as Canterbury, Winchester and Poole to name a few, but outside of these big towns I have no idea of the smaller villages close by.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
