Noisy neighbours

Odd question for me to ask on Mumsnet but at the end of my patience with noisy neighbours so hoping somebody can help!!

I live in a semi detached house next door to the noisiest neighbours from hell. Unfortunately not in a position to move at the moment so looking to soundproof the attached walls.

Has anybody done this with any success? I don't know where to begin! When we moved in we did initially sound proof downstairs attached walls but it's made no difference so assume we didn't use the right stuff.

Please please can somebody point me in the right way!!

Thank you so much

Sorry I can't offer a solution, but watching with interest. It's either sound proofing, or noise cancelling earbuds for me for the foreseeable!

I think soundproofing works best on the side that’s making the noise, but may be wrong!
